The Stay at Home Book Tag!

Hi everyone! Today, I’m going to be doing the Stay at Home book tag, which I found on my friend Amy’s amazing blog!

LAYING IN BED – BOOK YOU COULD/HAVE READ IN A DAYseven husbands

The most recent one off the top of my head is The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid – such an addictive book!

SNACKING – GUILTY PLEASURE BOOK

hate the term guilty pleasure! You should never be ashamed of anything you enjoy!

NETFLIX – SERIES YOU WANT TO START

Definitely The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon! I know I’ll probably love it but they’re such huge, intimidating books!

DEEP CLEAN – BEEN ON YOUR TBR FOR AGES

There are so many I could say for this, but the one that pops to mind is The Lie Tree by Frances Hardinge! After recently reading Deeplight, I’m looking forwards to this!

ANIMAL CROSSING – BOOK YOU BOUGHT BECAUSE OF THE HYPE

Hamnet by Maggie O’Farrell, though I can’t see myself regretting it at all.

PRODUCTIVITY – BOOK YOU LEARNT OR HAD AN IMPACT ON YOU

I have to say Radio Silence by Alice Oseman. This will always remain one of my favourite books of all time.

FACETIME – A BOOK YOU WERE GIFTED

Recently my uncle bought me Notes to Self by Emilie Pine. I enjoyed it, but it didn’t quite live up to the hype for me.

SELF CARE – WHAT IS THE ONE THING YOU HAVE DONE RECENTLY TO LOOK AFTER YOURSELF?

Quarantine has really given me an opportunity to get back into running. I used to love it, but then work, college, writing etc got in the way and I just found myself so unmotivated! But thankfully I’ve a lot more time these days, as does everyone else, and I’m falling in love with running all over again. I usually do 5K four/five times a week!

BONUS – NAME A BOOK COMING OUT SOONread with pride

There are SO many! Read with Pride by Lucy Powrie, the long anticipated sequel to The Paper & Hearts Society. There’s also Juno Dawson’s Wonderland, William Hussey’s Hideous Beauty – and of course Loveless by Alice Oseman!

Feel free to take part in this tag if you want!
