I LOVE THIS SO MUCH.

Oh good God  I would happily shout of my adoration of this book from a rooftop. This is one that I’d recommend to anyone of any age, young or old!

I decided to reread this because I loved it so much the first time and after reading a quote from it on GoodReads, it just totally made me want to read it again.

Such a beautiful, poignant, lyrical, musical, beautiful story and the way Nelson inconporates love and loss into her characters is breathtakingly admirable.

I envy her because she’s so marvellously talented and love her at the same time for writing this book.

Honestly from everyone I know that have read both of Nelson’s books, they’ve all said that their favourite is I’ll Give you the Sun.

But I have to disagree. This is my favourite for sure. 5 out of 5 stars, definitely. And I’m going to end this review with my favourite quote from the book…

“My sister will die over and over again for the rest of my life. Grief is forever. It doesn’t go away; it becomes a part of you, step for step, breath for breath. I will never stop grieving Bailey because I will never stop loving her. That’s just how it is. Grief and love are conjoined, you don’t get one without the other. All I can do is love her, and love the world, emulate her by living with daring and spirit and joy.”

Jandy Nelson, you are my queen and I cannot actually wait for Fall Boys  & Dizzy in Paradise !!!!!
