I saw the most AMAZING post from LOST IN A STORY with the most AMAZING idea to help cut down my ridiculously large TBR! Thank you so much for creating this post!!
THIS IS HOW IT WORKS: (straight from original post)
- Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
- Order on ascending date added.
- Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books
- Read the synopses of the books
- Decide: keep it or should it go?
Every week I will be going through 10 books on my Goodreads TBR and purging as many as I feel comfortable with. Most likely these posts will go up on a Sunday. Currently I have 226 to go through and this number is always being added to, so hopefully this will help a lot. Here are my next ten books!
Poirot’s Early Cases by Agatha Christie
My final Agatha Christie book on my TBR! I have a lot of her books to get around to!
JUDGEMENT: KEEP
The Fandom by Anna Day
Not really feeling this one anymore!
JUDGEMENT: DELETE
A Shiver of Snow and Sky by Lisa Lueddecke
I’m kinda unsure about this, but I think I’m going to get rid of it.
JUDGEMENT: DELETE
Because You Love to Hate Me by Amerie
I’m never gonna get around to this so I’m gonna get rid of it!
JUDGEMENT: DELETE
The Treatment by CL Taylor
Not really my thing!
JUDGEMENT: DELETE
Show Stopper by Hayley Barker
I remember starting this and DNF’ing it so I’m gonna get rid of it.
JUDGEMENT: DELETE
The Last Days of Archie Maxwell by Annabel Pitcher
I absolutely love Annabel Pitcher’s books so I’d love to get around to this!
JUDGEMENT: KEEP
What If It’s Us by Becky Albertalli & Adam Silvera
Umm, not quite sure what this is doing on my TBR seeing as I already read it lol.
JUDGEMENT: DELETE
Theatrical by Maggie Harcourt
I wasn’t a massive fan of Unconventional but I’ll give Harcourt another go with this one!
JUDGEMENT: KEEP
Villain by Michael Grant
Definitely wanna get around to this series!
JUDGEMENT: KEEP
This was a much better week than last week, haha. I managed to get rid of a solid 6/10 books! My TBR remains the same, at 220 books.
